Luckily, two of my great friends, Jensen who everybody knows very well, and my friend Kelly who I work with, came to my trailer to check in on me and talked to me for probably an hour or so and then, I was like, “all right guys, I’m going through a tough time right now. I don’t know what it is, but I’m just going to keep my legs moving. I’m going to keep fighting.” They let me go that day. They were like, “Hey buddy, go home. Call your family, and you’re off work. Come back to work tomorrow.” – Jared about Jensen helping him when he was diagnosed with depression. [x]
Sam Winchester fans are so blessed. I knew this before the New Jersey Con this past weekend, but reading that Jared researched in order to know how Sam would react non-verbally to Lucifer just made it all the more apparent. And to top it all off, he sees what some people who call themselves SPN familyl members say about him or things that he says and he still manages to be kind and forgiving. Knowing how he feels about disappointing people, I imagine that it’s very difficult to be in that healthy place and I can only hope that the love we try to show him far outweighs those people who feel they must drag him or any of the other cast members down.
